This policy describes how Birha Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Birha", "we") handles information when you use india.birha.in (the contributor marketing site), join our waitlist, or contact us about the Birha contributor programme. For our enterprise and dataset services, see the policy at tech.birha.in.
What we collect
- Waitlist / early access: details you submit on forms (for example name, email, phone, city, task interests, referral codes).
- Technical data: standard server and analytics signals such as approximate location (region), device type, and pages viewed — used to run and improve the site.
- Communications: messages you send to us by email or through linked channels.
This marketing site does not host your task uploads. When the Birha app is available, collection, storage, and use of recordings will be described in the in-app privacy notice and contributor terms.
How we use information
- To respond to early-access requests and notify you about launch and programme updates.
- To secure the site, fix issues, and understand aggregate interest in Birha.
- To comply with law and protect Birha, contributors, and the public.
Sharing
We use service providers (for example hosting, email, analytics) who process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to enforce our terms.
Retention
We keep waitlist and contact records as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise them where appropriate.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you (subject to legal exceptions) by emailing hello@birha.in. If you are in the EU/UK, you may also have rights to object or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children. Do not submit information if you are under the age required in your region to consent to data processing (often 18 in India for commercial programmes — confirm with counsel).
International transfers
Data may be processed in India and other countries where our providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change; for material changes we may also notify you by email or a notice on the site.
