Data processing notice (DPA summary)
This page summarises how Birha Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Birha") processes personal data in its capacity as a controller when you use india.birha.in and related contributor waitlist flows. Enterprise customers who license datasets from us should refer to the Data Processing Addendum on tech.birha.in, which governs Birha as a processor for customer-provided data.
Purpose
Operating the contributor marketing site; managing early-access and waitlist sign-ups; communicating about launch and the Birha programme; security and abuse prevention; and aggregate analytics.
Categories of data
Identity and contact details you provide; limited technical and usage data; and correspondence you send to us. Task recordings and wallet data are outside the scope of this marketing site and will be covered in app-specific terms when live.
Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies)
- Performance of steps at your request before entering a contract (waitlist).
- Legitimate interests in operating and securing our services, unless overridden by your rights.
- Consent where we ask for it (for example optional marketing).
- Legal obligations where applicable.
Processors
We use subprocessors for hosting, email delivery, analytics, and support. A current list is available on request at hello@birha.in. Enterprise subprocessors for dataset delivery are described in our B2B documentation.
Transfers
Where data is transferred outside India, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. Contact hello@birha.in. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
